Pipeline Conditioning, LLC is a successful start-up headquartered in Evergreen, Colorado. We are a service provider to natural gas utility companies across the country. The primary service we provide is natural gas pipeline conditioning, or pickling. We also provide temporary odorization services for a wide variety of client requirements. Pipeline Conditioning, LLC has proprietary tools and equipment that allow for this process to occur with little to no disruption in service while simultaneously ensuring that all customers are receiving properly odorized gas.

Our project managers, all of whom are petroleum engineers, strategize with each customer to design a custom odorization plan that best meets the needs of each client and their project.

Summary of Responsibilities

While you are free to live anywhere throughout the United States (within reasonable distance from a major airport), your training starts at our company’s shop in Colorado. There you will be mentored and trained on all equipment. You will then take these new skills learned during training and continue to grow them in the field at jobsites.

Essential Functions

  • For 50% - 60% of the year, you will be traveling and physically working hands-on at job sites.
  • You are responsible for the logistics of a project including setting up your own personal travel, scheduling field crews, coordinating equipment and supplies needed for the project, and maintaining all PPE.
  • Hands-on work is required at the jobsite. You will be physically installing and decommissioning our equipment, operating our equipment, sampling gas, recording, and logging data for reports, effectively communicating with the client and management, and troubleshooting when needed.
  • Driving is an essential job function – a clean driving record is required.
  • You will be required to work in all weather conditions, working in inclement weather is a possibility. The company will help prepare and outfit you with the supplies, gear, and PPE needed to safely accomplish this.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering – Petroleum Engineering preferred.
  • Oilfield experience with time spent in the field (frac, wireline, mud, and other services).
  • Experience with tracing piping and valve lineups.
  • Strong background in leading and promoting safe work environments, including previous training on lifting, pressure, toxic chemicals, line of fire, and driving.
  • Must be capable of walking/climbing on rough terrain, hills, and ditches, while carrying tools (up to 50 pounds), and working in remote, off-grid locations.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.

  • You must be willing and able to travel for (up to) several weeks at a time and often last minute.
  • You must possess excellent critical thinking skills.
  • You must be proactive by nature.
