Pipeline Conditioning, LLC is a successful start-up headquartered in Evergreen, Colorado. We are a service provider to natural gas utility companies across the country. The primary service we provide is natural gas pipeline conditioning, or pickling. We also provide temporary odorization services for a wide variety of client requirements. Pipeline Conditioning, LLC has proprietary tools and equipment that allow for this process to occur with little to no disruption in service while simultaneously ensuring that all customers are receiving properly odorized gas.
Our project managers, all of whom are petroleum engineers, strategize with each customer to design a custom odorization plan that best meets the needs of each client and their project.

Job Summary
Responsible for the logistics and execution of projects including booking own travel, scheduling field crews, coordinating equipment/supplies needed, hands-on work at jobsite, maintaining all PPE, and reporting. Travel up to 60% of the time to job locations. May live anywhere in the United States with reasonable distance from a major airport.
Essential Functions
- Operate equipment and execute projects in accordance with processes and training in the field at project sites.
- Safely execute work operations in all environments by effectively eliminating hazardous conditions through engineering controls and work practices, ensuring all associated risks are sufficiently mitigated, and utilizing stop work authority when unsafe or hazardous conditions exist.
- Install, decommission and operate equipment, gas sampling, record keeping, report writing, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Respond to and report any abnormal operating conditions
- Manage resources and logistics necessary in execution of assigned project including customer and third-party personnel
- Communicate effectively with the client, team and management.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Attend mandatory weekly safety meetings.
- Other work-related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; Petroleum Engineering preferred.
- Oilfield experience with time spent in the field (frac, wireline, drilling fluids, and other services), 2+ years preferred.
- Experience with tracing piping and valve lineups.
- Strong background in leading and promoting safe work environments. Previous training preferred in lifting, pressure, working with chemicals, line of fire, and driving.
- Capable of walking/climbing on rough terrain, hills, and excavations, while carrying tools (up to 50 pounds), and working in remote, off-grid locations.
- Able to work extended hours (up to 16 hours) on occasion.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.

Physical Activities, Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions
Physical Activities
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and such.
- Maneuvering body to perform work operations in different positions and work environments, including tight spaces.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 50lbs (occasionally up to 75lbs) in all directions.
- Performing work operations involving repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Operating hand tools, power tools and motor vehicles.
- Maintaining worksite organization, cleanliness, and general housekeeping.
Physical Demands
- Heavy traveling up to 60% of the year.
- Travel by air or motor vehicle for up to the entire work day.
- Medium work that primarily involves sitting, standing, walking and moving objects up to 50lbs (occasionally up to 75lbs).
- Walking/climbing offroad, in and out of excavations, up and down grades and embankments, on rough terrain, hills and ditches.
- Normal color vision and sense of smell required.
- Driving motor vehicles to, from, and between airports and work locations
Environmental Conditions
- Performing work operations in hot and cold environments and being exposed to various outdoor weather conditions, such as wind, rain, and snow.
- Performing work operations at general industry and/or construction work locations where potentially hazardous conditions could be present from moving equipment, vehicles, machinery, loud work environments, etc.
- Occasionally performing work operations in areas with poor ventilation and tight spaces.
- Limited or lack of cell phone reception for up to several hours in certain work areas.
- Often working in remote/off-grid locations requiring prolonged periods of waiting with limited or distant access to bathrooms.
